Pinus resinosa, 6-12", maturing 65-100'. Prefers full sun, sandy to gravel soils. Fast goring pine on sandy soils. Valuable for timber, reforestation, windbreaks, and wildlife cover. Sheds lower branches as it matures. Long lived.
